Maybe it's a part time job in the making - but every girl had party packs, with games, willy straws, willy glitter headgear - it was a night of fun & laughter....but sadly we didn't get the bride to be sooo drunk that she threw up everywhere! Shirked my duties there!

Damn that girl! So my plan...(cos Darsho always has a plan) is to attach spy cameras to all of her accessories...that is Plan A. Plan B, would be to trawl the celeb nightclubs myself....but that would defo lead to the big D word wid the 'ol man....see what I'm saying?

For those readers who thought I got tired of the blogging or ran after Quentin Tarantino and dissapeared because of mental breakdown - you're all wrong!

I have actually been working (for once;) - updating the Trendster website, ready for Christmas and all it's loveliness!

And at the mo - I'm coming to terms with SEO crap....it's taken me a year to figure out what takes most people a day! No, I'm not thick or mentally handicapped....my brain just doesn't work when it comes to certain things.....SEO being one of them!!!

Anyone who knows me - knows me lurves to see celebs - just to say 'i've seen them' and today i decided to step outside my office & there he was signing autographs!!! Now I've watched 80% of his movies - and think he's brilliant - so was a little star struck & smiled like an idiot - but didn't ask for an autograph!
Now no one will believe me!

P.S. just to clarify - i was not stalking him & did not run after him - that I reserve for the likes of Brad Pitt / Martin Henderson:)

well....i had a weird start 2 my day..........1st i woke up & remembered my dream - which consisted of me & the hubby having a bath in a restaurant - with people eating around us! (I know - u can't make cooky stuff like this up!)

Then the button on my trouser popped whilst getting ready for work! dHOH! I blame the store I bought it from - cos after a few washes, the poor thing was hanging on for dear life from it's wittle string.... so off came those pants & on came one that was ironed but didn't match - sometimes u have have to just make those fashion mistakes!!!!

But 2day - i no care - cos it's our wedding anniversary!!! Whoppeeee the hubby put up with me for another year!!!

Well.....the hubby met me in the West End of London on thursday... he bought a takeaway pizza, and we sat on the grass outside the national gallery, opposite trafalgar square and had a wonderful dinner.....followed by a walk along the thames - I was wooed:)

When ur out shopping on the high street - it's almost like being a kid in a candy store......your adrenalin kicks in & you forget everything apart from the clothing/styles/whats in fashion etc - and that's the joy of a shopping spree.....

But then - at some point - we're all going to have to start shopping ethically and until now I thought I wasn't doing too badly... but RI has been named as one fo the businesses who chose not to respond to questions regarding minimum wages - and that's where my 2 beautiful jackets come from - so now when I wear them it'll reinforce the fact that I make a choice when shopping.... and if I choose to buy something that's cheap - I have to ask myself why it's so cheap....and then also ask myself - if the person who made this garment is earning enough money to eat, pay their bills, send their kids to school and support their family - are they comfortable, getting by or struggling - whilst creating a jacket that at a price I purchased it - could feed them for a month....

At Trendster, we try to source suppliers for our clothing - that have a transparent supply chain - and so far to our knowledge - that's what we've done.....we're in the business of being ethical - but it's nice to have a wake up call from the stars at labour behind the label once in a while - to let you know what's happening around you - and that your choices affect people & have far reaching consequences.....

so spiders are number one - mainly cos i grew up watching the discovery channel & in south africa all we had were small black house spiders - not the giant mutating mofo's u guys have here!!!! So - I have my hoover to hand when i spot a ma-hoosive spider - or even better the hubster gets them - tho all he does is put the damn things out onto the balcony - where i'm sure they just crawl back in from!

but yesterday i even cracked myself up........we're on the 2nd floor of an apartment & i closed a window just in case a bat flew in - yep i'm losing it i tell ye! Tho u neva know what may happen......

Yep - i'm slowly becoming that grumpy ol women in ur minds! But as a kid growing up - I would rather have been climbing trees with the neighbourhood boyz(have the scars to prove it) than helping my mum out in the kitchen!

Problem is - if the cherry & 3 were over - they were god's gift to any mother wanting the purrfect daughter - they were 'yes' girls & by default made me look way baaaad!!!

No fault of theirs mind - they had their premature 'housewife' switch turned ON early in life - whilst mine was on OFF until I got married!

So - my skiving partner in crime was KakaMo - as lazy as me with a twist(cos she was literally off in fairy land) - I ws usually left with the grating(of any veg/cheese) whilst cherry was carving dolphins out of watermelons & 3 was making every1 the 'right' cup of tea!!!

So now - my pet peeve is grating - me hates it! U just seem to always be there, up & down, up & down - and then ur left with the ends which can't be grated & u don't always wanna eat............the hubby does the grating - except for 2day - when i'm striving for the wife of the year award & getting over this pet peeve of mine - welcome to married life - enjoy!!!

London's different when the sun shines- the ppl are colourful, friendly, approachable..........maybe thats cos its easier getting up in the morn - maybe cos they're not wearing their black coats.......whichever it is - pray that it stays thru the winter!!

The scowling faces on the tube depress me & I get so desperate for sun - that if it does shine on a winters day - I try to stay for as long as poss in that small patch ( much to the other pedestrians annoyance)......so I'm the woman holding up the 'traffic' on the pavements! Sorry but it has to be done - if ur brave enuf to fight me for that spot of sun - go ahead - make my day:)

My mind's stopped ticking - only because I''m now thinking bout business stuff...........our new database driven website is nearly complete - and again the hard work starts - very soon - we'd have been trading for a whole year...........and I suppose that scares me...what have I & Trendster accomplished this year?

Well when I started Trendster - it took 6 mnths to get a website designed & live, products chosen and business admin completed - that all brought us to Dec 2006, when we went live to trade - after Christmas mind - but better late than never!

And then theres paperwork.........i think what kills creativity is the admin! So for those individual designers out there - don't lose ur touch with the admin in life.....if u want - give it to me & we can take over the world 2getha!

Christmas is round the corner again - but b4 then I have a 3 week trip to a-la Durban!!! Ooooweee - saffas get ready - we're going fair trading!

There are just some things that will annoy me to no end - and to get rid off my current frustrations i'm venting here!
Please don't:
- stare @ me on the tube - one day soon I'll shock u by asking 'wat are u lookin at?' - oh a faux pas of talking to a stranger on the tube!(unless ur drunk - then all boundaries are crossed)
- make sucking noises when eating
- make rules like 'don't put that on the desk' - but then shove everything else on my side! (which is clean - for once)
- re-organise the washing I've helped hang up just because it's not as straight as you'd like it!
- mis-pronounce every name that isn't of english origin
- be a celebrity who preaches about charity and organic living - but then doesn't follow what they preach
- say you don't like something without ever having tried it
- wish for better weather and then complain when it's too hot
- pick your nose on the tube!! To all the british people out there - this is not a normal habit - so stop doing it!! Oh the trauma of sitting on public seats!

The bitching could go on forever........ is it only me that feels this way??

Well there are times in the day set aside for different things - my alone time starts when a crime drama starts - Law& Order, Special Victims, NCIS, CSI, The Practice - u name 'em, i've watched them............at one point I actually thought I wanted to be a lawyer - cos i loved these sooo much waaahhaaa - me in a 9-5 career is laughable & I'm so honest that if my clients were guilty I'd turn them in myself!

At the moment I'm eagerly awaiting the next series of CSI - waiting to see if Sarah Sidel gets out from under the car........

CSI Miami sucks ass - Horatio Cane & his over-dramatised poses & enunciated words are sooo cringe worthy! And I still watch dat shit! Oh dear me - I'm so losing coolness points with this blog!

Sumtimes - as all women know - u get a day of cravings.........cud be chocolate that hits the right spot, haribo sweeties or even some carbs... and today it was a need for Maccy D's - but you'll be glad to know -I didn't succumb....just had half a frozen pizza instead! Oh woes me! The rule is 'stay away from the carbs darsho' - but when ye gotsta have it!!!

Did every1 expect Dawson Leary & Joey Potter to get 2getha & grow old in the Creek? Life just doesn't turn out the way u'd expect - every1 in my fam who had PCOS said I'd stop getting acne when i hit my 20's - i'm 28 & its all still there!!!! So- when do things work out?? I'm still figuring that one out - and yes, at times life's crap & gets you so down - u eat a 1kg bar of chocolate(in a week mind!) but yep - it did happen....

But then, the women in your life - tell u2 stop feeling sorry for urself, get off ur arse & be glad ur not short of a limb, ur sight or have a wonky face.............so to all the women out there - my posse/fly gals especially - be proud to be a woman & I'm looking at the positives cos of you guys - the only way is up!

Dears............if I had a million pounds I know what I'd do - I'd buy a tube station in London - and it'll be all mine - ALL mine I tell ye!!!! My haw-ful journey into DrABC training 2moro will be about 2 hrs - there's no time to do my hair, faff in front of the tv, co-ordinate a wardrobe or even get some morning action! Sacre-bleur wat if I forget to clean my teeth in all this hurry!

I feel very sorry for myself at the mo...............& if a London b@itch pushes in front of me on the 1st bus journey I have to take - she'll be seeing the baaaad Darsho I try so hard not to be!!!!! I'm on the edge of getting whoop ass on ye!

Got a busy week ahead.......a 4 day intensive 1st aid course, then the joy of visiting the S.A. Embassy to see why they're not taking my calls! What the fcuk do we need an embassy for - if they're not gonna help saffas abroad? Don't get me started on this topic.............i'm at boiling point!!!!!!

Onto happier thoughts - I got this fab shirt dress........non-organic - but I'm not in the league to buy a dress for £160 yet............and don't know if I want to....just think it doesn't need to be expensive to help the environment. Anyhoo! This one is £12 from ASOS.

yes i have a big ass...........some may say it's hereditary - others may account it to the amt of bloody time I spend on this damn compooter - rabbiting on! Either way - i've gotta hoursglass figure to the extreme...........for family who are reading this look away now!

Size D boobies........then a very small waist & high hips...............god really did a number on me! Not to mention the onslaught of pcos - I'm beginning to wonder - what did i do in my past life to get this sorta karma! Harley St clinic - contact me pls! Jan pronounced Yun..............back in the day around 93/94(circa Boomerang) the old man thought of shipping us off to kiwi land...............a better life, dreams of fresh air, family's cycling in the park, not knowing what hi-jack meant............. but once I put my foot down - the family dream was compromised & we didn't move ( that's a blatant lie we'll blame it on my brothers) - but we ventured to Auckland(or as the hubby asked the other day: where's Uckland?) - and spent a few weeks there - our show to watch was : Jan can cook & so can u! Inspirational - to a 14 year old - all I thought was - who gives a shit - get me outta this Motel!

Egotistical - having a blog - about ur ramblings................i'm just easing u in! cracks me up!!!! hank azaria in 'along came polly' - me likes my comedies, crime/courtroom dramas - but noooo scary movies - don't do scary & if i have to i.e. i'm the only un-cool 1 in a room of 10 whose fighting the 'nightmare on elm street' marathon - then i watch with my fingers in my ears and my eyes closed! So i have 2 brothers - who have recently started their own restaurant - part of a franchise in south africa.........and they're doing bloody well for themselves! I'm the middle child - with middle child syndrome..............yes i'm self-diagnosing(a thing i do - with enuf research u can 2!)

Cos the hubby & I have no secrets from any1 - I may as well tell u we have a kissing spot - it's been broadcast round the town - and yes whilst it sound sweet - we found the spot 8 yrs ago & when we're in the spot in Covent Garden - we venture there for a kiss - think every1 shud have 1 actually - ur instantly transported back to the days when ur stomach went 'ga-doonk' at the sight of each other - and u keep it sacred enuf not to go there when ur arguing........... have i lost my coolness?

So - the girl named '3' is sad 2day - not cos she's waxing ppl's underarms for a living, or giving those smelly type pedicures with no mask on...................... no she's sad cos she thinks her hearts broken - but it'll get fixed - i just know it - and she'll make me jealous by landing hunk of a man - with jet black hair, tanned body & bright blue eyes.......................oh the days of mills & boon! waaahhhaaaaa!

well....the universe hasn't delivered the million as yet - i put my order in a while ago & the hubby & i have imaginatively spent it all!!!! we always ramble on bout this - esp when we're on a long tube ride home..........i ask: wat wud u do with a million pounds....' then he waffles on about a honda type R(I just barely know wat that looks like!!) and a big house, and of course spreading the cash round the family.....(have 2 say that or will be disowned by all & sundry) - and i go..........................'i wud be outta here ina second - travelling the world- after giving a chunk & a half to charity & trying to stop world hunger- this is not mandatory to say - i truley feel it............and then of course giving a big chunk to the fam on both sides(mandatory to say or else) - so........................i'd also book a meeting for my fam & i(oh y oh y do i know my extended family soooooooo well - all 30 of us probably) to meet Nelson Mandela! That'd be grrrreeeeaaaat!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And after a few hours - I could call him gogo(or the male version of gran in zulu!!) - but no worries u guys out there - waiting for me to become famous(not perez hilton famous) but Bono famous - i've got ye in me little black book - we're all gonna be rich i tell ye!!!!

To the in-laws who are reading this................yes, i've killed the plants again - pls don't judge me on these ramblings - I'm a good girl I am...

Another mini-break/distraction from the celaning - i'm staggering it - so it won't be too painful - and then when i look back on my weekend - i can say ' hmmmmm interesting - no i didn't do nothing ALL weekend' - so my ques to any1 out there - if ur eating Green & Black's organic choc - but the milk one - are u being healthy - or are u being just as much a spider pig as when eating a normal milk choc? One to ponder........

Waahhaaa(my laugh - u'll get used 2 it - i stole it from a stoned cherry) - i just heard sumthing hilarious - cheryl tweedy on mtv hits - saying: 'i'm not into fashion, i'm quite happy to put on my juicy couture tracksuit and head down to the studio' - tut tut - that sounds like fashion to me!

My average day is time in front of my laptop....if I'm not facebooking - it'll be checking out tmz.com & people.com, and then there's chatting to my fly gals on msn - yes i know - famous ppl's lives aren't every1's cuppa tea & i sound like an immensly boring individual - but my business forces me to be online all day & my part-time jobby(to pay those bills) involves me being in front of a compooooter - so it's 24/7 staring at a screen -
did that make me sound less boring?? didn't think so....

I don't know wat it is but i loves me some celeb news..........never buy the mags - cos it's a waste of paper for me...........but online.............i get the latest fashion & general goss - maybe it's a kinda curiousity - but then i also like watching home sellng shows - cos i loves looking into other ppl's homes - i'm a snoop in the waiting - maybe when i'm old & grey i'll be one of those lady's that's the neighbourhood watcher!!!! I can see it now!

So - I loves fashion - like, all clothes, accessories, shoes etc u get my drift - and i'm a shopaholic - which to be fair - i have 2 blame my mum for a little - cos we had major shopping trips when i was growing up - and that's kinda stuck! Being in london - ur spoilt for choice and i feel like a kid in a candy store - boy oh boy - i'd even work overtime to get sum shopping money & sadly like many women out there - there are sum things in my cupboard that still have their tags on! Mainly cos i'm so messy i can't find them once they're in there!! And no...........b4 u start thinking it - this is a 'blog to pimp ur business' blog - it's a - i need to talk blog - and really - as u can see - u wudn't blame me for talking to u instead of the old hubby...........the poor man's ears are gonna fall off after being with me for 8 yrs and whilst i talk alot - all my mates seem to talk over me & generally i neva get a word in - oh that's every1 besides the pisces women in my life - big up u little fish!!!!!

So the sun's out 2day - which is brill for London - but i'm indoors - writing this inbetween cleaning! It's my cleaning day - and wat i wudn't give to be in s.a. & have a helper!!!! Now - for the ignoramous's out there..........it's a well paid jobby with accomo & food - and our maid has been living with us for 24 years - she's my grandma & we love her to bits - now she just lives with us like a memeber of the fam - anyhoo - back on track...................... sum of my saffa mates in London have maids!!! OOOh @ £10per hour - it pays better than most admin jobs!

I thought I was tired of blogging for a while....but then it's only my business blogs i'm tired of writing! Find i've got a lot of aimless info swirlin round my head - and instead of rabbiting off to the poor hubby, I'm releasing it into the www.

Watching Law & Order @ the mo........sad for most of you but me lurves my crime programmes! The rest of my time is taken up with being an Organic Londoner............as Organic as I can afford at the moment - I'm not a preacher - if you can buy slightly more expensive Organic - then go ahead.......... if not - then there are other little things u can do - I'm doing the little things for now!

To get 2 know me u'll have 2 kno Trendster............my Organic & Ethical clothing company started in Dec 2006............and what a 9mnths its been! We got into the 50 finalists of the Barclays Trading Places 2007 - but didn't get further than that - my journey toward entrepreneurship was not a winner on this round............

So in general - I come from a big family - not counting my immediate family - my cousins are like my sisters.........aunts like 2nd mothers - u can't imagine a closeness like this - it's an 'i've got ur back' type-a bond........................

Oh my just found out Brian won Big Brother - who the fcuk is Brian????? Me don'tsa(add this very cool word 2 ur dictionary) watch da BB crwap......so I dunno who Brian is but well done to u............I'm sure I'll see u in all the mags soon enuf - then u'll fade away after a year & people will be asking my ques - Brian, who's brian???

Of I'm waffling now & may get sued by Channel 4 - but they can if they want take my tin shack - but won't get my Porsche parked outside! O - its a south african joke (i'm a saffa) - sumtimes at home(s.a.) u find double storey tin shacks(squatter dwellings said in a rather posh voice) and outside u will find a rather nice motor ve-hicle.... it's a cracker(add this to ur facebook status) - and yes - i'm on facebook too.........so try & find me!
